You can get a Windows Server 2016 Standard virtual machine with 2 GB of RAM for 2 cents per hour.
The Windows instances have the same, fast local SSD storage.
The current locations available are Amsterdam and Bucharest with more to come soon.
We’ve updated all our OpenVZ nodes to fix the dirty cow vulnerability that was (re)discovered recently.
With this update another kernel issue was fixed and Ubuntu 16.04 is now available in all our locations.
A sister company is developing Fleio: OpenStack billing software and control panel for service providers.
A public release of the software has not been made yet, but an alpha version is planned to be released in a few months. You can see some early screenshots on their Facebook account.

We’re launching our second Amsterdam location: the Evoswitch data center. We’ll continue to use the Leaseweb network and services here too, just the physical location is changing.
All new orders for Amsterdam are now deployed in Evoswitch.

Amsterdam 1 (Easynet data center) is full and we’re no longer deploying VPS systems there. But if for some reason you really want a VPS in Amsterdam 1, we might still find some room for 1 or 10 VPS’es.

We decided to allow all VPS servers to burst to one full CPU. That’s four cores of (at least) 2.67GHz!
In order to have the server nodes run smoothly we’ve implemented a CPU feature that kicks in whenever a node has less than 10-20% of idle CPU and will limit your processor hungry neighbors.
We’ve also increased the disk storage space allocated to each VPS. For instance VPS Start disk storage was increased from 20 GB to 30 GB, check the home page for the modified packages – intovps.com.
All existing VPS’s have already been upgraded. You don’t need to restart your VPS. In fact, you don’t need to do anything but enjoy the new power and storage.
